Third Sunday of Lent

- For the Church, may the Holy Spirit strengthen her in teaching God's law in spirit and truth . . .   

   We pray to the Lord.

- For government leaders, may God inspire their creation of policies that follow his commandments, especially that of respect for human dignity and life . . .  

   We pray to the Lord.

- For those suffering any type of disease or affliction, may Christ, the Divine Physician, bring them comfort and healing . . .  

   We pray to the Lord.

- For our local Church community, that we may take the opportunities given to us this Lent to spend more time with God, sharing his Word and helping those in need . . . 

   We pray to the Lord.

- For our beloved dead, may Christ who died for us welcome them to eternal life, and and for all the prayers listed in our parishes' books of intercession . . . .
