Second Week of Advent

- For the Church, that God will give us the will to pursue conversion and advocate for justice and

peace . . .

   We pray to the Lord.

- For openness of heart, that God will renew the gifts within us and help us to be dynamic disciples of Christ . . .

   We pray to the Lord.

- For all who are waiting, that God will grant us patience and the knowledge that the Lord will always accompany us through difficult times . . .

   We pray to the Lord.

- For the healing of our civic community, that we might be led to honest dialogue and greater respect for one another . . .

   We pray to the Lord.

- For all who are ill, that God will ease their pain and bring them healing in body and soul . . .

We pray to the Lord. . .

- For all who have died, that our Good Shepherd will gather their souls into the peace and joy of God's eternal presence. And for the intentions listed in our parishes' books of intercession . . .
